"Published in "Letters to the Editor" in The Clarence Bee, March 10, 2010: I would like to thank Tom Lorentz, owner, and Chris Carden of Main Mobility in Clarence fore once again providing my K-9 partner, Nak, with a kennel in my New York State Police Vehicle. In 2004, I approached tom and Chris with the need for a kennel in my truck when Nak and I began working together. Through Tom's generosity and the hard work of his staff, Nak was provided a state-of-the-art kennel. When my truck recently needed to be replaced, Tom and Chris once again stepped forward to assist. The staff at Main Mobility removed the kennel form the old truck. They cleaned, repainted and reinstalled the kennel into my new truck so Nak could once again travel safe a securely. It's a business like Main Mobility that the residents of Clarence should be proud to have in their community. Main Mobility is the area's premier headquarters for wheelchair accessible vehicles, modifications and mobility equipment. In 2003, Tom Lorentz was named New York State's "Outstanding Small Businessperson of the Year" by the U.S. Small Business Administration. This recognition was well deserved, as I have also personally dealt with Main Mobility for its professional services.
